AKRON FESTIVAL OFFERS COMPANIES A WAY TO GIVE BACK

AKRON, Ohio (July 16, 2015) – Civic pride. Those are the common words people use when talking about the National Hamburger Festival, which will be held in Akron’s Lock 3 Park Aug. 8-9.

But organizers of the festival, who are celebrating its 10^th anniversary this year, are taking that civic pride to a new level by offering the National Hamburger Festival Employee Appreciation Program for Northeast Ohio businesses.

As part of this unique package deal, companies can purchase bulk quantities of admission tickets for their employees, while seamlessly making a charitable donation. Specifically, $1 of every ticket sold through this program goes back to Akron Children’s Hospital, which is the largest pediatric healthcare provider in Northeast Ohio.

“What a great way to treat employees to some end-of-summer fun,” Drew Cerza, festival founder said. “On top of that, employees will not only see their companies supporting a beloved local event, but also making an investment in the community.”

In an effort to accommodate companies and organizations of all sizes, the program comes with three package deals that can include extras like advertising within the National Hamburger Festival guide and logo placement on the festival’s website.

In addition, festival organizers can work one-on-one with area companies to design special packages that include any quantity of admission tickets and donation to Akron Children’s Hospital.
