The Best Burger competition in the amateur division will take place on
Sunday at 3:00 P.M.

You may enter your recipe in one of two categories:

• Traditional Beef Burger
• Non-Traditional Burger

Only complete recipes including all ingredients and preparation directions will be considered. Entrants cannot have professional cooking experience.

We will select a group of finalists in each category who will be notified by July 1st.

If selected, Contestants must arrive next to the main stage by 2pm on Sunday. Each Contestant must be prepared to present to the judges at 3pm. They also must have a printout of all ingredients and a name for their burger for the judges.

Finalists need to bring all of your own ingredients, mixing bowls, serving trays, utensils and all other items you may need. The Festival will provide grills and cooking area.

A panel of three local celebrities and sponsor representatives will taste test your recipe. Judges will score on Taste, Ingredient Creativity and Presentation.

You will personally serve one platter with 3 burgers to the panel of judges. Your presentation of the burger will be taken into consideration. You will then personally serve each judge a slice.

Each 1st place winner will receive a prize package valued at $100, an engraved plaque and, of course, bragging rights..
